Картины, создаваемые в обрядовых целях индейцами навахо [Navajo], пуэбло [Pueblo] (а в прошлом также племенами юга Калифорнии и равнин) из разноцветного песка, муки, пыльцы, золы и т.п., размером 3-7 метров в поперечнике. Уничтожаются сразу по окончании обряда. Создавая такие картины для туристов, художники опускают какие-то детали, чтобы избежать кары богов.
